Dive Lab
Marine conservation in Ghana has largely been land-based due to limited diving capacity among local scientists and conservationists. Coral Reefstoration Ghana seeks to change that by training a new generation of ocean stewards with in depth theory and practical instruction in basic underwater diving technique. PADI Scuba Certification upon successful completion. Dates: October - November 2026.

Selection Criteria:
Applicants must be 18 years old and above, women, residing in Ghana.
Applicants must be medically fit for diving and comfortable in the water (if accepted you will be required to complete a medical questionnaire/health check)
Applicants must know how to swim at least 200 meters without stopping
Applicants must be able to float without aid for at least 10 minutes
Applicants must provide proof of their ability to swim and float prior to being selected for the lab
Applicants must have a passion for marine research, conservation and science communication to develop their skills in this area.
